Harmwave - Freeware Image Processing Application
HarmWave is an image processing application that provides many of the same functions as expensive
applications like Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro. Design gradients, create seemless backgounds, apply
filters, distortions, color effects, resize, rotate by an angle, merge, buttonize - over 50 different
functions. It has one major advantage over those expensive graphic applications, it's totally free!
HarmWave can be used for photo enhancing and re-touching, or to create Web graphics like backgrounds
and buttons. It's only 268 KB, and requires no installation. Just create a new folder /Program Files/Harmwave,
and extract the download harmwave.zip into that folder. To open the application, double-click
on the filename HarmWave.exe.
HarmWave was created as a demo program to demonstrate graphics programming techniques to Delphi
programmers, that's why the interface is so straight-forward and easy to use. It's a fun program to
play around with, especially since it's totally free, no trial period, no disabled functions, and
no nag screens.

Start an Easy Home Business: Become an EBay Trading Assistant
by Stephanie Chandler
EBay's online auctions have created business opportunities for thousands of people. Now the Trading
Assistant program is making it easier than ever to start a business from home. Trading assistants act
as brokers, selling merchandise for others and keeping a percentage of the profits. The profit
potential can be great, especially when selling high-value items.
Though there are millions of registered users on eBay, many people still don't know how to sell goods
themselves. A trading assistant fills a need in the marketplace, allowing you to make a profit while
helping others unload their stuff. Almost everyone has a box of items in their garage or closet that
they would like to sell.
Getting Started
You will need to decide what types of products you are willing to sell and may want to set a minimum
value on merchandise you accept. It can be difficult to make a profit on $5 items, so many assistants
require the products have a minimum estimated sales value of $10 or $20.

Chronic Fatigue : Part 2 : Fatigue Caused by Today's Lifestyle
By Stephen Bucaro
Are you always tired? Everything takes so much energy. When you wake up in the morning you're tired.
You tried to get more sleep, but that didn't help. The fatigue just won't go away. If this describes
you, read on ...
In Part 1 of this series of articles, I mentioned that chronic fatigue is an epidemic that has
stricken as many as 500,000 Americans. I explained that constant tiredness can be a warning sign
of serious disease, but the most common cause is today's high-stress lifestyle.
A century ago, most Americans earned a living in agriculture. One of the most common past times was
sitting on the porch gazing at the stars and contemplating the meaning of life. Then came the
industrial revolution.
Agriculture became mechanized so very little manpower was required for a modern farming operation.
People moved to the cities to take factory jobs. Factories run assembly lines and do time studies
to make the workers work faster. If a worker couldn't keep up with the line, they were fired. No
more sitting on the porch gazing at the stars.
When the 2nd World War came, women filled in to take the factory jobs vacated by men. After the war,
America's industrial might was redirected to the manufacturing of consumer products. Every American
family needed a house in the suburbs, with two cars and a television in each room. If the people
next door bought a new car or new furniture, you had to too. Women never went back to being
homemakers. They had to keep working in order to keep up with the Jones'.
Today, most manufacturing is done outside the United States. Many Americans now work in the
information industry. We work with computers that transfer information at the speed of light. Our
productivity is monitored and statistically analyzed by computers. How much information can you
create per minute? You need to work faster, because your job is subject to global competition.
You need to live at a fast pace while fighting traffic and crowds and being subjected to noise,
pollution, and crime. Your food is manufactured from flour, sugar, fat, and artificial chemical
flavorings and preservatives. No more sitting on the porch gazing at the stars.
Are you always tired? Welcome to today's lifestyle. Being tired may be the inevitable consequence
of the hectic life brought on by the industrial and information revolutions, global competition,
overpopulation, and pollution. Good life management skills are crucial in today's world.
In Part 3 of this article, we'll examine how poor life management can result in chronic fatigue
and how chronic fatigue will eventually result in serious disease.
